2023–2024 Preschool Registration:
- Exciting news! We are expanding our preschool program to serve students five days per week!
- We are planning to have an open house on Friday, September 8 from 11:00am – 12:00pm for families and for preschool to start on September 11, 2023.
- Preschool will be offered at Gause, Cape Horn-Skye and Columbia River Gorge.
- If you are a new preschool student, complete online registration at: washougal.k12.wa.us; click on “New Student Registration“. Register for a specific preschool location.
- Returning students are already in the system and do not need to complete the online registration.
- Once your registration is complete, the Early Learning Coordinator will contact you to confirm your registration and your student placement.
Space is limited in the preschool programs, so early registration is recommended. Returning students are given first priority for placement. Students are “waitlisted” when classes are full.
Registration forms for our programs are available by clicking the link above, or in our office at Washougal School District Office.
2024-2025 Preschool Program Information
Unfortunately, we will not be offering the Community Education Preschool for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Families of students who will turn four before September 1, are encouraged to consider applying for our Transition to Kindergarten (TK) program. TK provides free, full-day learning activities that prepare students for a great start to Kindergarten, with teacher-led curriculum. Visit our Transition to Kindergarten page for more information, and to apply for this free program.
- Families of students who will be five before September 1 are invited to enroll in Kindergarten! Contact your school’s office to let them know if you’d like your student enrolled in Kindergarten.
- Families of students who will be three years old can explore the Head Start program, located at Hathaway Elementary, to see if they qualify. Visit the EOCF website to learn more about the Head Start program.
- Families of three- and four-year-old students may also be interested in the 1-2-3 Grow and Learn Program.
