Jemtegaard Middle School 6th graders in Mona Davies’ class learned about the job of a civil engineer using a real world example, the new school currently planned for construction at their existing campus.

Jeremy Fick, PE, a civil engineer from Robertson Engineering in Vancouver, discussed his role in the design of infrastructure for facilities.   He explained his work focuses on everything outside of the building. He works on area such as storm water, sewers, fire protection, drainage, parking lots and fields.
