The halls of Canyon Creek Middle School were more crowded on Tuesday, October 25 as approximately 80 parents joined their student for the annual “Bring Your Parent to School Day.”

“It is nice to see what our kids are doing at school and the challenges they face on a daily basis,” said Erin Hobson, with son Jacob in his sixth grade science class.  “It is a good experience for parents and is definitely worth the time.”  Hobson also feels participating in these type of activities help show students that their parents care and are supportive of what they are doing in school.

For Jacob’s part, he enjoyed having his mom with him in class.  “It is fun,” he said. “And it is nice to have someone to work with and to help you with the assignment.”
