Dear CH-S families,
We wanted to provide some advance notice: The US Department of Agriculture’s program to provide meals to all students at no charge due to public health emergency ends this school year. As of August 30th, the first day of the 2022-23 school year, charges for breakfast and lunch will resume. Updates, such as pricing information, will be posted to the district’s Culinary Services page once they’re available.
Applications for Free/Reduced Meals (and services covered by HB1660) must be submitted in the first 30 days of each school year. Eligibility does not rollover nor automatically renew from year to year. Applications for the 2022-23 school year will not be available until August, when the new school year begins. You’ll be able to apply online through Skyward Family Access, forms will also be made available on the WSD Culinary Services page,and at the school’s office. One application per household, please.
