Wednesday May 11, 2022 is National School Nurse Day.
Since 1972, National School Nurse Day has been set aside to recognize school nurses. National School Nurse Day was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting, and is celebrated on the Wednesday within National Nurse Week.
The theme for this year is “Bridging Healthcare and Education”.
I want to recognize our school nurse, Kate London, for all of her hard work and dedication to our students, staff, and families. The role of a school nurse has never been as vital as it has been this past year. I have watched Kate do her job with a smile throughout it all. We are truly lucky to have her as a member of our team. If you get the chance, please thank Nurse Kate for all that she does for our school community!
