We are so excited to get to work and launch into our 21-22 learning journey! We were happy to see so many of our students and their families at our Back To School Night event.
Some additional items that might have been missed:
- If you plan to have your student NOT ride the bus, please notify the office. Every student (with exception of those on boundary exception) are automatically assigned bus transportation. Our default practice is to put students on their assigned bus at the end of the day unless the office is otherwise notified. The Transportation Department has sent information out via e-mail/ParentSquare. You can also find busing information in Skyward Family Access. Please contact the office if you need to update your information. Due to safety constrictions, students are assigned seats and bus passes will not be issued to any student intending to ride on a bus they are not already assigned to. If you intend to transport your student(s) via private vehicle, please notify the office so that we do not put them on a bus. If you have any questions, please contact us.
- Please join our Cape Horn-Skye Boosters at their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 1, at 8:05 AM. Meet our Boosters officers and learn more about what to expect this year. Lots of changes are unfolding and they have some big plans in store. Masks must be worn while in the building. Sign in at the front office.
- Please be aware that even on the first day, parents will not be permitted in the building. We welcome you to take pictures at the old bell or in front of the school. Rest assured that we have staff inside to help your students find their way to breakfast and/or their classrooms. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 8:40.
