Wed, Dec 1st: Help the CH-S Boosters raise money for the 5th grade celebration. Hosted by Five Guys on 192nd and Mill Plain from 3 to 8 pm. Be sure to mention Cape Horn-Skye when you order. A percentage of all proceeds during this event will be donated to the school in support of the 5th grade end of year celebration.

Fri, Dec 3rd: Last day for Stuff the Bus donations at Cape. WHS students will come by in the morning to collect all the donations from both Cape and Canyon. Thank you all for your support!

Mon, Dec 6th: Keeping Cape Proud photo submissions are due. We’d love to see what our Kodiaks do outside of school. Please submit a 4×6 copy by the 6th. It’s important to note we cannot guarantee a safe return of your photo. Limit 1 photo per student. Photos will be displayed in school.

Wed, Dec 8th: Season of Celebration: 4th grade concert at 5:15 pm. 5th grade concert at 6 pm. Doors open 15 minutes prior to each concert. There will be a brief transition between grades. **5th grade band members: be sure to get those permission slips in as soon as possible. Details for the band performance are on your permission slip.**
The Boosters will be hosting a bake sale and 50/50 raffle throughout both concerts to help raise funds for the 5th grade celebration. Cash only for raffle entries, cash or Venmo for bake sale items. Masks are required for all who attend.

Thurs, Dec 9th: The Boosters are hosting another Family Night Out FUNraising Event at Papa Murphy’s Take N Bake in Camas from 3 to 8 pm. Be sure to mention Cape Horn-Skye when you order. A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to the school.

Wed, Dec 15th: Join us for a bit of frivolity as the staff of both Cape and Canyon host another 12 Days of Christmas drive by parade! Come see us from 6 to 7:30 pm decked in our holiday best as we hum along with that festive favorite song in as many renditions as Mrs Brandt can dish. We ask that everyone remain in their cars and observe traffic safety. The drive-by route will be marked and we will have staff helping direct traffic as we try to have fun without causing excessive disruption to our neighbors.
