This spring, 24 Washougal High School student athletes representing four sports advanced to state competitions! Today, Superintendent Mary Templeton speaks with Jaisa Wilson and Hadley Jones, first doubles team representing Washougal High School at state competitions this year.
Golf, tennis, track and field, and equestrian athletes competed against teams in the Washington 2A division to wrap up the spring athletics season. Girls track placed 7th in state, with Washougal High School student Sydnee Boothby taking 1st place in the 800 meter and 2nd place in the 1600 and 3200 meter races.
