In this edition of Mary’s Monday Minute, superintendent Dr. Mary Templeton visits the first day of the Read Northwest Reading Buddies program in the newly redecorated Reading Room at Gause Elementary. Washougal School District partners with Read Northwest to increase opportunities for young students to practice literacy. Community volunteers spend time reading books with Washougal students. All volunteers must pass a background check.
