The Washougal School District is applying for a waiver for the 180th day of school to the state Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. If approved, the last day of school will be Friday, June 17, which would be a 3-hour early release day.
The school district will have provided enough instructional time over the course of the school year to waive this day under the state rules, and we will have made up four of the five missed days due to winter weather. The waiver will also prevent WHS seniors from needing to make up a day prior to graduation. You can find an updated calendar on our website in English, Russian and Spanish.
