January is school board appreciation month in the state of Washington. Our elected school board members work together to guide decisions and create a vision for our communities schools. Our award winning board members are volunteers who spend countless hours studying issues, making difficult decisions, and building the vision for schools where every Washougal student is known, nurtured, and challenged to rise! Our board includes Jim Cooper (District 1), Angela Hancock (District 2), Sadie McKenzie (District 3), Cory Chase (Board Chair, District 4), and Chuck Carpenter (District 5). Thank you board members!
