Superintendent Mary Templeton has presented her entry plan, “Listening to Learn and Leading Forward” to the Washougal School Board at their October 9, 2018 meeting. The entry plan focuses on connecting and communicating with the community, staff, and students through the school year.
Highlights from the plan, include multiple phases, starting with phase 1 focused on providing opportunities to meet staff, students, community members, and other stakeholders in a variety of ways, and asking questions like “What is going well in the Washougal School District?” and “What are your hopes for the Washougal School District into the future?”
The plan includes goal areas around learning environments, staffing, student achievement, community engagement, and stewardship of resources.
